I'm A Wannabee!!

A wannabee T-baller!
I went to brother Max's first big game today.
Even though it was cold, I cheered as loud as I could!
( I had some help from Amber's sister, Kiki!)

Why Are The Animals Blurry?

Because, Dad and I went on a STAMPEDE!
We ran a big 5K at the Salisbury Zoo.
Dad came in third in his age group
(even pushing me in a stroller)!
I told him he didn't need to be jealous!
(I came in first in my group!)

The Maryland Zoo

When we visited the zoo,
I got to meet a lot of different animals up close.
Some were bigger than me,
and some were not.
Some jumped around a lot,
and some did not.
Some were real and furry,
some were not.
Some were good conversationalists,
some were not.
But, do you know who my favorite animals were?
US!!!!
The best part was being with my family,
on a beautiful and sunny Easter Sunday!
(Even if sometimes Max drives me bananas!!!)

Hippity! Hoppity!

I have been enjoying a great Easter weekend!
On Easter morning, we dyed some hard boiled eggs.
Grandma helped me to write my name on an egg before we colored it.
She helped me put my egg in the blue dye.
They all turned out nice (and yummy)!
(Check out our peep shirts!)
But, I still liked mine the best!
Later on, we hunted for our Easter Baskets.
Somebunny snuck into our house and left one for me and one for Max.
Grandma set up an egg hunt in the backyard.
I found a lot of eggs to put into my basket!
(I needed a little help getting to this one!)
Then, we relaxed and checked out our loot!
There were coins in the eggs!
(My piggy bank is full now.)

BWI

We picked up Grandma W. at the airport on Saturday.
(She is visiting us for Easter.)
I really liked riding on the moving walkway and the glass elevators.
I will post more pictures of our adventures soon!

I See Skies of Blue...

and Cherry Blossums, too...
Yesterday, we went to DC to see them.
It was one day past their peak, and already so many had blown away.
(Beauty is fleeting, is it not?)
We still managed to find a few for some photo ops.
(The place was still a madhouse, though, so we didn't stay long.)

Hoppin' Down the Bunny Trail!

Yikes!
That is what I thought of the Easter Bunny.
We went to the park near our house for the Cambridge Easter Egg Hunt.
While I was initially prepared for the mad dash for the goods,
I was taken aback by the mere presence of a seven foot rabbit.
I didn't like him!
Dad helped protect me and carried me to find the eggs.
When it was all said and done, I was really quite pleased.
Did you know that the Easter Bunny puts CANDY in eggs?
That's awesome!!!!
